For travel to Utila, the two closest Honduran international airports are San Pedro
Sula (SPS) and Roatan. If you are flying into SPS, you will need to transfer to a
national flight or take a bus/taxi ride to La Ceiba where you can either switch planes
for a short 10 minute flight to Utila or catch our daily, twice-a-day, Utila Princess
ferry for a pleasant one hour sail to the island.If you are arriving into Roatan,
you may either transfer to a national flight to Utila, usually via La Ceiba, or a
boat ride via two different ferries from Roatan-La Ceiba and La Ceiba-Utila. Another
option if you are on a tight travel schedule or desire a small, individualized trip
is via one of three different charter flight companies that we work with that operate
